Role Overview
Title: Education Lead
Employment Type: Contract, part-time to full-time (20-40 hrs/week negotiable)
Reports To: Founder
Location: Remote (occasional short travel opportunities)
About the Role
Battery Associates’ BatteryEDU division is growing, and we’re looking for an Education Lead to supercharge our education and training efforts. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with our founder and a cross-functional team to implement the next stage of our educational journey, integrating AI and expanding our global impact.
You’ll be at the heart of shaping and delivering innovative learning experiences for battery professionals and enthusiasts worldwide. If you have a background in batteries, a strong affinity for education, and a keen interest in using AI to enhance learning, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver educational programmes and training materials for a range of audiences
Integrate AI tools and technology to enhance the learning experience
Collaborate with the founder and team to design and implement new educational initiatives
Engage with the Battery Associates community and external partners to identify training needs
Measure and analyse the effectiveness of educational programmes and iterate accordingly
Represent Battery Associates at relevant events, conferences, and workshops
Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of BatteryEDU
Must-Have Competencies
Battery background, or a strong willingness and ability to learn quickly: Ideally, you’ll have experience in batteries, energy storage, or a related field. However, if you don’t have direct experience, we welcome applicants who are highly motivated and can demonstrate an ability to pick up new technical topics swiftly.
Demonstrated knowledge of, or a strong interest in, artificial intelligence and its application in education
Proven passion for education, training, and knowledge sharing
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote, cross-functional team
Highly organised with great attention to detail
Committed to continuous learning and professional development
Nice to Have Competencies
Experience developing educational content or managing training programmes
Familiarity with learning management systems and digital learning tools
Experience working in start-ups or fast-paced environments
Experience in business development or partnership building
Knowledge of Chinese language: Ability to communicate in Chinese is a plus, as it will help with collaboration across our global team and partners
